Dead fucking drunk walking the 4 blocks or so to the gas station to get more... on the way back I noticed this that someone was tossing.
Yeah, nasty looking... definitely needs a cleaning... BUT... it (Mostly. The right side tape deck sounds horribly muffled... I'm guessing it's just dirty) works. I haven't tried a CD in it yet, but meh. Doesn't matter. Who uses CDs in 2003 anyway.
I think I have an audiobook around somewhere to try that part out. But I've gotta clean this fucker first. lol
Katamari Damacy REROLL PC - $17.99
Stardew Valley for Android - $7.99
... and 15 bucks snagged me
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for 3DS
Naughty Bear PS3
Dark Souls II PS3
Went to the local retro shop and did a double take at a GBA game I completely forgot about that I demo'd at E3 2003 in Scurge: Hive. I recall it being a potentially impressive isometric take on Metroid and lost track of it since it was coming out from a smaller publisher. Stoked to stumble across and hopefully will pop it in soon.
Oh, Naughty Bear...

haha Yeah, I've read the reviews on it before. Years ago. But meh, it was "Buy two, get one" at a local rental store. They're starting to try to clear out their previous generation stuff. TAS2 for 3DS was 10, and Dark Souls 2 was 5. Leaves one guess for the freebie. lol
Got this electric cordless lawn mower for a hundred bucks yesterday.
It's going to supplement the old school manual mower I've got. hehe
Got me the expansion pass for The Witcher 3 (yeah... I just now got it... lol) on PC yesterday. Was on sale for 10 bucks.
Wow how long does it run for? I was thinking how cool a robot lawn mower (room a style) would be. So expensive though.
It runs for about 20-25 minutes or so off a full charge. Plenty long enough for what I need to cut down. heh
Got me a new toy. $350.
Just ordered this after a few hours of testing how much power i use.
THEORETICALLY I could run everything I use on a normal basis (obviously minus the AC) purely off these panels without having to even touch my 105ah deep cycle battery.
Of course, this is only in theory, and obviously wouldn't work at night (that's where the battery comes in) but yeah... we'll see how this works out.
I already got a few solar solutions, but they aren't anywhere NEAR big enough. One's a 13w briefcase style that I got at Harbor Freight, and I've got two (5w and 21w) foldable panels. Imagine the kind of stuff a backpacker would have strapped to their backpack. But these are meant more for running small fans, lights and charging phones. Where they struggle is with my phone because it's got a 5,000mAh battery.
What isn't pictured? Wolfenstein: The New Order for PS3. I already had it for Xbox 360, but it's on 4 goddamn discs.
Along with Guardians of the Galaxy, Thor: The Dark World, Star Trek: Into Darkness and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. All 3D versions.
13 bucks total.
... Stephen King books:
Hardcover - It, Insomnia, Pet Sematary.
Paperback - The Dark Tower - The Gunslinger, The Dark Tower - The Drawing of the Three
Those were $20 total... and the woman who was selling them has The Tommyknockers in hardcover. I'm going to get that later this week for 5 bucks. King himself doesn't like the book, but fuck him. I like it.
Got these off of Wish in a drunken binge... I think they may have cost a total of 5 bucks shipped total. lol
Got these for a dollar each from Goodwill when I went there to get an end-table to use as a bedside table.
Stumbled across this at a yard sale for a dollar. I love the games, so I figured "What the hell." ... It's actually quite small. If I took out the foam that holds the item itself I could fit my Swiss Army Knife in there and still have room for other stuff. But still, I thought it was neat.
And here is my current computer setup. I moved it from the bedroom to the front room after I found this counter-top on the side of the road that fit PERFECTLY against this wall (it's about 4 feet or so wide) ... I WOULD have all three of my displays on there, but then I'd have to have the tower in the floor, then I wouldn't have enough room to tuck the chair in to get it out of the way... dammit. Ah well, it's not pretty. But it was free and it works.
Rough specs for this computer: i7-4770 with 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD as a boot drive, another two 240GB SSDs, about 8TB worth of mechanical drives. 8GB Geforce GTX 1070 Ti. Main display is a 144hz 1080p Asus display, the secondary off to the right there is an Asus monitor. 1080p, 60hz. Some sort of RCA sound bar for sound. SteelSeries Apex 100 keyboard, Razer Deathadder Elite mouse. Cheapie third party wired Xbox One controller. Then a first generation Chromebook over in the corner there. hehe
You reminded me that I have PS3 somewhere.
My latest purchases weren't so entertaining. I bought a bunch of ant repellents and baits, mostly Terro. Literally, every inch of my house and backyard became infested by ants. I applied it as this article says and now all I need is just wait. Right, I have PS3!
