Just curious what people are reading.

Books: Dark Tower Series by Steven King
Just a fantastic series. They are suppose to be working on a script for a movie but think it would be much better as a HBO series.
Also just reread the Ender's Game and series. Between the Ender's Game book, the surrounding short stories and the branching series this is one of the most complete universes in any form of media.

    Comics: Saga, Ms. Marvel

I read The Martian a couple weeks ago. Good book, especially for a space case like me. :p

If you liked the show, I think you'll get into them. Very good, quick reads.
    Eight books in all.

I just started reading The Martian today after hearing Josh talk about it the other week. Seemed like an interesting premise. Really enjoying it so far and like the log style. I guess it was that or have him talk to an imaginary friend. Book goes well with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc on a 100+ degrees day as well.

I like political memoirs. Goes well with the bitterness.

Rereading Preacher (graphic novel) in preparation of the show hoping it actually makes it this time. "Name of the Wind" and "Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfus are 2 amazing books, lighter side of phantasy well done audio books.

The Preacher is a series I have been meaning to read. I need to see if my library has it.

Now I'm reading Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. (I've been on a kick recently) It is the sequel to The Shining.

I just finished Armada by Ernest Cline. It is a great book. I would definitely recommend it. It's not quite as good as his first book, Ready Player One but Ready Player One is probably the best book I've read in the last 10 years.

I have heard a lot of mixed things about Ready Player One. People either love it or hate it.

I think it depends on your age. I am old enough that I remember most of the 80's and I played an enjoyed almost all the games that are referenced in the book and watched and enjoyed most of the movies that were referenced. I think these factors contributed to my enjoyment of the book.

Reading through Armada by Ernest Cline, about 2/3 of the way through. Really good book.

    Need the check that out.

I just finished The Wind Through the Key Hole. It's the book 4.5 in the dark tower series. He wrote it after the he wrote the rest of the series. It's the main story of the series in which a main character tells a story where there is a story told within that story and each one is a great story.
