I start this thread with hope that I get some game recommendations from people at PSNation.

The games don't have to be the latest AAA games. They can be PC, retro, or hell, even XBone (unless Glenn disapproves).

They can be so horrible that we should stay away from them, they can even be some homemade board game.

Whatever it is, share what you're playing. Screenshots / photos optional.

    The prodigal son returns!

My PS3 that I lent to a friend for almost a year came back today.

Finally, I will go back and platinum Dead Space 2, the only Dead Space I don't have the platinum for.

I have never played Digimon or Pokémon games.

This one looks like a visual novel. Is it?

    No. It's a monster capturing/training RPG.

I finished playing through Xenoblade Chronicles X, jumped over to Gravity Rush HD, and am now playing through Dark Souls 2 SotFS on PS4.

Xenoblade Chronicles X has a lot of things that I could complain about but they do get the drive to explore part of that game down pat. The exploration, beauty of the world, variety of environment, and the world works well on two scales (on foot and in giant robots).

Gravity Rush HD was pretty good but I can't quite say it is great. I enjoyed the controls better on PS4 vs Vita. The art style is nice, the battle system is a little repetitive, and a lot of the games challenge is in optional side events.

Dark Souls 2 on PS4 is pretty great. The main game has a large volume of bosses but they aren't too memorable. The DLC is a step up in design and difficulty. I do feel the mob redistribution from original to SotFS edition sometimes feel cheap, kind of gotcha moments. It is my least favorite Souls game but I think it is still pretty great.

Recently finished The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It was ok.
Been getting back to DriveClub Bikes. Love the DriveClub!
And of course still addicted to Rocket League.
Tried MGSV. Played about 2 hours and can't stand it. Tried Helldivers. Meh.

I'm paying The Witness... Still. Rocket league as usual. Finished Fire watch and really enjoyed it, it's short but good. Going to start Life is Strange tonight.

Bloodborne, since December. I want to Platinum the game before starting the DLC.

Now that I got my PS3 back, I wanna go back to Demon's Souls, and platinum it.

But the dread is there - how I am spoiled so much by Bloodborne, in every possible way a gamer can be spoiled, to ruin my experience...

Oh man. In terms of trophies, Demon's Souls was the toughest for me. I got the Platinum after a very long time. But the gameplay speed and controls in that game are top notch. Even the lore and the world was captivating.

It was the Bladestone, wasn't it? Haha.

Yeah. Maybe I'll do that, but I need a new Dualshock3 lol

Just started Far Cry Primal and its a little light on story, but I don't think you really need that in an open world game set in 10,000 BCE (as stated in the game). Its fun to run around a world that's basically a huge forest with no major structures and the wild life is out to get you. My tip is to find a sabertooth tiger right away and tame it (once you have the ability). No animals will even come close to touching you once you have him at your side. Plus, you can eventually ride him.

Platinum is easy, but it's a really good story and interesting twist when you factor in her power. So, that's why you really should play it. ;)

I like easy platinums. Platinums make feel like a man. A real manly man.

I'm playing Dying Light. It's very well done with beautiful graphics. But me and first person games......it's not my style. GF bought me Spy Hunter for the Vita tonight. I'm gonna give it a go tomorrow.
